just detailed 07 ranger (white); used wg 3.0 swirl remover with flex and orange lc ccs pad; did 4-5 passes on 5-6 speed; then used wg finishing glaze speed 4 same passes; still had fine "scratches" ; areas on hood went over twice with swirl remover and still couldn't quite get rid of the small scratches ; didn't want to be too aggressive. any suggestions? also can u apply new coat of sealant after washing without using clay if its been recently polished and sealed? thanks

Was the test spot free of the small scratches you are seeing now?
What compounds do you have available?
Can you post pictures?
You may need to do an fresh test spot with compound and a white pad.
If that doesn't get the results you want, do a separate test spot with compound and your orange pad.
