I am going to install a spoiler on my corvette its held on with tape .what would suggest to remove the wax i haveon the car so it sticks well

I would clay then use a pre wax cleaner or light polish by hand. This will remove the previous wax.

Prep All (pep boys sells it) or Groits Wax remover (AG item). Or you can go the polish route, but you got to remove the polishing oils unless you use a pre wax cleaner. I personally would just go the Preps All way. Im a fan of the KISS method. If its good enough for a paint/body shop, its good enough for me.

Prep solvent is what you need. There are a few out there. ISP also works but I personally prefer Prep-Sol.

IPA not ISP. My bad

Yeah I don't think your Internet Service Provider will help you remove your old wax but you should call them and see what they say lol. There are a ton of different ways to remove the old wax like other people mentioned.
