Replenish Headlight Kit

Running out of product in my Headlight restoration kit. Bought a Kit from DK. What products should I be looking at to replenish kit?
 
Only time I can see buying a kit is if you have health problems that prevent you from doing much with uour hands, like maybe arthritis. Then you would need to let the drill do the work. But of course you could buy some unigrit discs and do dozens of headlights with out running out and still use a drill (all of this assuming you dont have a DA polisher). In other words .... sand by hand, compound and polish with a machine. Forget the kit.
 
Heres a set I did recently myself. Both lenses looked the same before, and the same after. 100% transformation. One of the most dramatic before and after results you'll ever see.
 
Was looking to get away from the kit. I do sand by hand. compound and polish using ..... What do you use first to prep the lens before you start sanding? what pads do compound and polish with?
 
Nothing to prep the surface, just wash it off with car soap. I use the meguiars unigrit sanding discs. They make in all grits. I use 500 800 and 1500 with a Griots 3 inch polisher and the soft pad interface, spraying a small bit of water on them during (called damp sanding). Then wet sand by hand using 2000 and 2500. Then I use a dewalt rotary with a meguiars heavy cut purple wool pad and some of the heaviest compound on the planet, not sold here on AG. Then meguiars m105 compound after that with same pad. Then change to soft foam pad, still with a rotary, and some polish , also not sold here. Honestly, we do 90% auction cars so we dont seal anything, just wax. And the results are always really good. Of course, sometimes you dont need to go as coarse as 500 or 800. But letting the machine do the work is what I prefer.
 
Heres a kia sorento we did last month. This is before sanding, after sanding, and after polishing. Not too dramatic here, just average. 374,000 miles on this thing. Ran perfect, no lights, and ice cold AC. Unreal
 
I haven't used opti lense yet but I would imagine if you can do a full car on 10 cc of opticoat you should be able to do many headlights with 10cc.
