Restored plastic rear window on 2000 BMW z3 convertible

Washed, glass cleaner, hand polish inside, and corners, machine polish exterior with flex 3401 yellow foam pad, aio polish with sealant.

newb question since this is an ever learning hobby. what AIO did you use for this? and are there any that you would recomend NOT using on plastic windows?

I have a lot of friends with soft top jeeps that would LOVE if I could fix there hazed and lightly scratched windows however I have yet to try anything on any of them.

Yours came out well. thanks for posting!

I used a product not sold here, but I recommend a polish or aio product that has a long work time (stays wet), you don't want to heat up the plastic too much, you can burn, or flex and stretch the plastic too much from heat. Work with light pressure and let the product do the work. I have not tested any aio products from here yet on plastic windows. But as always do a test spot first for many reasons. I also recommend using a good sealant on the plastic if cost and time is allowed. Some windows may have acrylic or similar coatings and you always want to seal acrylic after any correction due to uv acceleration from removing material, similar to the process of correcting headlights.
