I hate to be a contrarian with this, however I feel that the Big 3 may run into problems reintroducing "muscle cars". Let me clarify, the current Mustang, Camaro, Challenger are fantastic cars that evoke the feeling of the past gen. muscle cars. however, they are much more fleshed out cars than the early muscle cars could ever be. It is amazing that today one can buy an over 400hp V8 that is reliable and when run lightly pretty efficient.(Even the V6 options produce amazing horsepower/efficiency that trounces earlier V8 efforts).
However, I do not want the Big 3 mired in its past. They have collectively pulled out of the malaise of the 1980s and 1990's. The Big3 has no problem looking at their respective European/Asian arms for new models that are truly world class (re: New Ford Focus/Festiva , Buick Verano/Chevy Sonic, upcoming Dodge Dart et al).
That said, a modern version of a Nomad or a similiar shooting brake version of their cars would be cool.
