I picked this up as part of my purchase at the local 3D store. Decided to put it to use and to distract me a little after getting home yesterday seeing the results of my dad's Camaro stripped. It's like losing a family member. As well as my grandfather who is having some health issues.

3D Liquid Leather

Product Description:

3D Liquid Leather combines everything you love about leather cleaner and conditioners, without some of the most common annoyances. Designed to perfectly clean embedded dirt and grime while finishing with a smooth layer of protection, 3D Liquid Leather does not leave behind a greasy, streaky mess. Enhanced with Mink Oil, 3D Liquid Leather cleans and protects not only your leather wrapped seats and buttons, but will treat vinyl and plastic surfaces the same way! Think of 3D Liquid Leather as an all-in-one interior cleaner & protectant!

Leather is a soft and very supple surface that requires constant care and maintenance to keep it looking new. Even repeatedly getting in and out of the car is enough to cause leather to fade, discolor, and dry out. Over time those repeated assaults leave your leather looking worn and faded, even if it’s only been a few years. Luckily, there have been leather products introduced to the market that can prevent this from happening in the first place.

3D Liquid Leather is one of those life (or leather) saving products. Formulated with Mink Oil for extra softness, 3D Liquid Leather leaves your surface clean and conditioned in just one step! Add to that convenience the non-greasy formula, and 3D Liquid Leather is a match made in heaven.

After all of your leather surfaces have been cleaned and conditioned, you are free to use 3D Liquid Leather on all other interior surfaces! Plastic dashboard pieces, vinyl door panels, and even plastic trim. Keep your total interior area clean and protected from UV rays, everyday movement, and the unexpected elements with 3D Liquid Leather.

It's a bit hard to tell with the lighting but the product is a white gel like consistency. Similar to Meguiar's D181 Leather Cleaner and Conditioner and HD Protect.

I used a microfiber applicator to test out the cleaning ability of the product.

50/50 on the lower part of my chair. This is right after application.

I applied it to the remaining section. I came back with a microfiber and lightly buffed it. It gave a matte like appearance.

There was some dirt removed from the chair. It was not a whole lot as I hardly sit in the chair.

Initial thoughts:

I am going to give my initial thoughts until I actually use it on the interior of a car. I can't put my finger on it when it comes to the scent. It's almost like a leather type scent. It is very similar to HD Protect. It did go on very easily and a little product went a long way. Especially once the pad has been primed with product. It appears to be doing some cleaning action. For those of us that regularly maintain our interiors, this would be more than enough for an AIO. It is non-greasy. It did not leave a sticky feeling. The shine can be controlled.

So far this looks to be like a good product.

It says it can be used on all interior surfaces, so I am looking to use it like that.

For $8, it's worth giving it a shot.

Great review! Looks like a quality interior maintenance product. Not bad for 8 bucks.

How would you compare this to Meguiars Ultimate Leather Balm and Meguiars D180? It seems like it would be similar to D180? Curious as to what lead you to buy more leather cleaner conditioner product.

He is a geek with a product addiction.Im the same way but not so severe.one of my friends spend 5 to 800 a month on stuff he deosnt need or use.

When it comes to leather treating I don't mind a matte look, but it has to show my efforts.some of these products dry in it's like you didn't do anything to it.gotta show your work to the customer.

Similar to D180 in terms of consistency, color and leather application. The difference being that this 3D product can be used on plastics and vinyl of the interior. This is what intrigued me to try this product. Ultimate Leather Balm is basically a paste wax for leather. Hard to really say how this would perform in comparison to the others since I have not used it on the interior of any car.

I haven't had enough time to play around with this one but one can leave it on without buffing per the directions on the bottle for the shine you are after.

D180 states that it's for leather & vinyl on the back label. I use it on all interior plastics except clear plastics.. Plastic molding on seats, door moldings, seatbelt latches, trunk moldings, etc. Works good just like anything else:)

I only have a sample size of D180 that I bought from ADS some time ago and I wasn't looking to purchase an entire gallon of it. I agree that it is a good product. But for $8 and a 16oz bottle, 3D liquid leather will last me quite awhile for an AIO. I like the paste wax application of Ultimate Leather Balm but sometimes I prefer a liquid. Depends on my mood.

Oh ok, I thought you had bought a gallon of D180. I know my gallon is going to last quite a while.. That's why I wondered why you'd want to keep stocking up on leather cream.

I finally used 3D Liquid Leather on the interior of my personal car

Did a little test on my driver side seat just for you.

Side by side. D180 on the left and 3D on the right. Both applied with a foam applicator. No final buff in this photo.

Also used it on my dash after a wipe down with Meguiar's QID. 1 coat of each product. No final buff.

From left to right

Adams Leather Conditioner on the right which can be used on all interior pieces. It is not an all on one like the others

3D Liquid Leather on the center

D181 on the right. This one didn't look so good on the dash. Looked like I applied nothing to the surface.

I finally picked up more of these palm sized microfiber applicators that I like this past weekend.. They have a pocket on 1 side.

And that means I get to use my D180 Leather Cleaner & Conditioner for the 1st time in a while.. I did a lil test for you too, brother😃
1st I wiped the whole interior clean with D181 Leather Cleaner. Then followed up with D180 worked in real good with the applicator.

D180 50/50 on my dash.

And on my door panel.

You can always tell it's been applied to the vinyl parts of my interior. I'm kinda surprised how it doesn't seem to show on your test.. It's the 1 on the right?

Yup. It didn't take well. I would have to use more coats that I want to. So far the best thing that works is 303 Automotive Protectant

The seat kind of leveled out and the products look the same side by side after I have sat in it for a couple of days. The 3D product is ok for for a 1 step. At times it looks like nothing was applied on certain materials like hard plastics. I did notice that there appears to be a little more dust than 303. I'll use up the remaining 3D stuff primarily for leather and stick with 303 on the dash.

Yea I think I know what you mean as far as that hard plastic material they use on some dashboards.. Chevy Trucks come to mind, it's hard to get just 1 layer of it to show its even on there. And turns into a chore that's not really worth it in the end.
