Hello AGO!!!

I was lucky enough to receive some Blackfire Wet Diamond Glass Cleaner from AG to try out and post a review. So first and foremost, thank you AG!!!

So... let's cut to the chase! Is this glass cleaner awesome? Is the formulation everything we've ever needed? Does my wife bug me about streaks left behind? Come along, and learn some stuff!!!

First and foremost, I have ALWAYS loved the smell of PBMG products. Souveran, Black Onyx Tire Gel, and now this. For interior products I have always been a fan of a lighter, brighter, clean scent... this stuff smells like grapefruit. If you've ever smelled Winn Dixie's old grapefruit soda, this is it. I'm not sure if that's what they were going for, but it smells fantastic to me!

So smell... yeah yeah yeah... that's great, but how does it clean?!?! Very well. I've always used Stoner's Invisible Glass aerosol as my go to cleaner, because like a foam gun, I like to have some fun with the spraying! Oh... and it does a pretty dang good job. The only thing I noticed is that it seemed to attract a film to the front glass, and my wife would always bring it up to me in her car. It got to a point where I would only clean her windows with a microfiber cloth and some water to avoid it. Personally, I think she is crazy, but I love her... so, what can I do? I'll tell you what I did... tried this new stuff on her car!

My process on interior vertical windows except the windshield and rear window involved spraying directly onto the glass. On the sunroof, rear glass, and windshield it went onto the waffle weave microfiber first.

Onto the Pictures!

Front Sunroof Greasy Fingerprints (literal grease):

THOUGHTS:

This stuff worked out fantastically well! It cut through grease and oily fingerprints extremely well, and left behind a streak free shine. Here's the best part, my wife hasn't said a thing about streaking or a film, and she even commented on how clear the windshield looked!

I think it would be awesome if PBMG would put this in aerosol form, and this without a doubt would be the undisputed glass cleaning champion of the car care world.

Thanks for reading, and please let me know if you have any specific questions!

Thank you for the review. Looks like another happy Diamond Glass user.

Don't you just hate oily prints on the inside glass? And people just love to touch the panoramic piece when they get in, don't they? lol

Have you sampled other PBMG glass care? Pinnacle Crystal Clear Glass Cleaner is outstanding. I'm curious if this might have surpassed it.

They absolutely suck!

I've never tried another glass cleaner because I have personally been very happy with Invisible Glass from Stoner's. Aside from what my wife noticed, I never saw any issues with it at all, and quite frankly, what she saw could have just been gassing from the dashboard, or humidity in the morning. I never saw it personally, so I can't say for sure.

Plus the price difference is quite substantial... $6 for Invisible Glass as opposed to $20 for Blackfire... They're both good products and I do like Blackfire a little bit better, but I don't know if it's good enough to completely sway me. I'll try Stoner's again on my wifes car to see if she says anything about this mysterious "film."

Ice review Nate. I have recently ordered some to test drive myself. I'm a long time fan of IG also. But like most of us on here I'm always looking for something that might be better. So far I have IG, Mckees's, WG, Pinnacle, GG, Sonax, D120. I have also been using a mixture of d114 mixed with CGV7 1:1 with great results.

I hear ya. Stick with what works for you - it's a smart move. Fish around (like I do) and you'd end up spending all sorts of $$$$. It is an awesome performer per dollar ratio.

I don't have it in hand yet, but from other reviews I got the notion that you'd only need a few squirt rather than laying it on. With a discount, the gallon price is actually on par or a little cheaper comparing to buying smaller bottles of other brands.

^^^ This man right here took time out from his busy schedule to share this mixture. This is the Bay Area, it's a rat race here. I was seriously surprised to receive the text early in the day. He didn't have to, but did so out of kindness. This is what I'm talking about - this forum is full of good people.

Those that have these chems need to try the cocktail.

fly07sti, you sir, are awesome. :props:
