Review: Duragloss 901 car wash and AquaWax

Yes but its still considered a "spray wax" ;) If you haven't tried it you need to.

What does UPGP give me that I don't already have in WGDGPS, other than a spray on WOWA?

I have a sealant that I like in WGDGPS. It gives me a 'nuba like glow, protects for many months, the car stays cleaner longer and the finish feels awesome. Is UPGP more durable? Does it protect better? Does it reduce the risk of scratches and swirls? Does it look like a high end carnauba, with a liquid shimmering glow to it?

I still want to try WGDGPS with a Fuzion topper. That should be an interesting combo.

The only thing reducing scratches and swirls right now is Aquartz, which by the way I will have very soon (and Dwayne).

Thanks Jim.

Good point. SoCal doesn't have the humity issues so the users experience may differ by environment. Don't get me wrong, I admired my car today and the car still looks dust free.

Does Ultima have a spray wax?[/quote
Yes I meant Car Wash.
No wax ot yet! 4 Star is made by the same company and has Polycharger. It is my favorite Spray Wax! If Ultima ever develops one, you can bet the farm, I will order it.P Pretty safe bet that Corey will get it too! The only average product they make is the Detail Spray. All others are superb, including the INterior Shampoo that didnt sell well at AG. Just my $.02. I could live with only this line, except they dont make a polish that cuts . The Optimum Sprays would round out my best of class categories.

Wow I was just suggesting you try it, I didn't know I would get the 3rd degree :D

Excellent review and very well written. However, I'm left with the understanding (or misunderstanding) that the 901 wash removed some of the wax along with the dirt, and the AW is getting the blame for "flattening" the previous glow.

Corey are you planning on putting it on skybaby?

I got 2 kits with the idea one of them would go on skybaby. Still have to get up the courage though. Haven't decided for sure.

You cracked me up! You, Jim and Corey all think I need to try it.

I keep trying to apply appearance and performance characteristics to the products that I try and use. That's all.

I'm not sure that the wax was removed. I sense that a sealant/polymer shell was added over the wax by both the car wash and AQW. I can see the same effect on both the windows and the paint, where the windshield didn't have Fuzion or AQW.

Fuzion has a certain look and it seemed muted after using the 901/AQW combo. The car doesn't look bad, it just looks different.
