Thank you for the review. I was considering using this on my daily driver (2009 Rav4 outside 24/7). I did a full detail on it last year (Meg UC/SwirlX) and removed most of the defects (yet it has some micromarring). I like the idea of a 1 step (not worried about durability, that is what a topper wax is for).

I haven't "compared" them but the two are different products even though they both fit into the AIO category. Griot's One Step has abrasives and will do minor correction plus protection. DG 501 is more of a chemical cleaner with very little (if any) abrasives. Even though it does leave behind some protection, 501 makes an excellent base for your favorite lsp.

Thanks for the reply. I knew that DG 501 had strong cleaners and I've always wondered whether it had abrasives but I was under the impression that it us an excellent sealant and test by itself it could last up to 6 months or so. Nonetheless, on my cars I always follow DG 501 with Collinite 845.

The filling wasn't what I was referring to, I don't want to say what I've found as I wanna see if Gary finds the same to be true since our climates are close. It's really only a small detail, seeing 95% of my clients that get a wax also get their vehicles maintained by me as well, so I get to see the cars a lot. There's so many variables to how each product performs and who knows this may only be a problem I'm having with the application or removal of the product. I'm also interested to know what you're referring to. I've used this product for a few years now and have never noticed any issues pop up a week after application. I've always been happy with the performance of the Griot's one-step sealant.

Xmt360 shares more similarities with megs d151. I get ghosting a lot with both of those, but I haven't yet with the GG. The GG may have slightly more cut. I am going to try and put this AIO shootout together and answer all of your questions.

Your in Seattle, I really believe this is a climate related issue and a small on at that, most would probably never notice it even in high humidity, but was thinking since Garry's used a number of other aio's he might would pick up on it, if he's maintaining these vehicles, or like I stated before maybe it's just an application or removal problem on my end, although I haven't seen it with other aio's
