I was one of the winners of the Cobra Indigo Bonnet. From the time that they were offered they looked great since I love the Indigo towel for removing wax.
The new Indigo Bonnet was put on an Edge 2K Blue Pad.

First, I had to find the optimum speed with the PC 7424. The first speed was 2. It just seemed to spread the wax around. Then 3, a little better but still spread the wax around. Then 4, very good. Then 5, whoa, it wants to sling the bonnet off the pad. So setting #4 it is.
Below is the test with a panel. All covered with Souveran Paste.

The left half will be wiped off with a Cobra Indigo Towel by hand. The right half will be removed by the new Cobra Indigo Bonnet, PC 7424, over Edge2K Blue, speed 4.

Here are my opinions. The Indigo Bonnet has some definite positives and negatives.
On a positive note it is a real arm saver when used on some panels like the top of the car or the rocker panels. No rapid arm movement or down pressure while in an awkward position. It's quicker on large flat areas.
Here are some of the drawbacks. It loads up about 2/3 of the way around the car and starts leaving wax trails (because it's not picking it all up). OK, it's reversible. I turned it inside out (reverse) and put it back on the E2K Blue. Two things happened. It started slinging dust that I'm sure was old residue from the Blue pad that was previously in contact with that side of the bonnet. That didn't last long and it was working like a charm. That didn't last long either. The clean side loaded with wax after just one panel which led me to believe that the wax from the other side loaded pretty deep. Anyway it would take off most of the wax with just light trails which were very easy to remove by hand.
The other drawback is that it will not remove wax from tight creases so there is going to some "by hand" removal anyway.
At the end of the day I threw it in with my MF towels and it cleaned up nicely.
Will I use it again? You bet. If you already have your PC out it's an easy set up and a huge arm/body saver. It's not a time saver since you are going to do some areas by hand anyway. You get the best of both worlds.

I haven't had a chance to try mine yet as my backing plate seperated, but would love to try it.

Thanks for the review my friend! Sounds like it has it good and its bad parts...

dad gummit, sorry guys. Those pics were there for awhile so I deleted the originals.
