Price Point:
6.99
24 oz
.29 Cents / oz.

Advertisement:
- 100% Ammonia Free.
- Safe to use on all auto glass surfaces. including delicate tinted films.
- Tough enough to handle oily residues, grimy deposits, road film and haze.
- Even the most stubborn residues, such as smoke and vinyl haze, wipe away effortlessly.

Ingredients:
- Water
- MSDS Chemical:
Isopropyl alcofol < 10%
- pH 6

General thoughts and impressions:
- Pleasant scent, very faint. Similar to that of an eyeglass cleaner used at an eye doctor or optometrist office.
- Product tends to dwell, but the water escapes and then runs, similar to common glass cleaners.
- Lifts dirt very well from glass.
- Dries quickly, leaving no streaks.
- Very nice reflection.
- Nice shine.
- Thin clarity.
- Great surface cleaner.
- Cleaned the dirt off my windshield wipers possibly better than any other glass cleaner.
- Has a blue color to the liquid.
I don't care for that, but see absolutely no negative effect on surfaces, or towels, as a result.
- Product tends to improve on performance with additional applications, on glass surfaces.
It does a good initial job cleaning glass, and appears to build on its own ingredients the more product you add to the surface.

Would I recommend for auto glass:
- Production detailing: Yes.
- Personal detailing: Yes.
- Decontamination: Yes.
- Everyday use: Yes.

Does this product live up to its advertising:
Yes, so far as I can tell.
I did not have any smoke or haze to clean off, but the product did a great job on very dirty glass.

Final thoughts:
I really like this product.
I highly recommend it.
This product is a contender to earn a permanent spot on the detail cart.

Thanks for the review. This is a great Mothers product.

I have no idea. I never ventured into their professional side other than the compound and polish.

AHHHH yes. I've been waiting for your thoughts on this one. It's my favorite so far.

Based on your review of the Armor All, I actually went back to try it out. That one isn't bad at all, either!

Please post if you ever find out if the gallon size concentrate is similar in performance. I don't want to buy another 6 pack of these bottles! (too easy for friends to say, "Hey, can I borrow this" and walk off)

I gotta say, I really do like this product.
I do find that it performs better the more you "stack" the ingredients by adding more applications of the product.
Very impressed with it as a surface cleaner.

I am very interested in the gallon size concentrate.
Based on the MSDS reports between the two, the gallon size contains both Isopropyl alcohol and 2-Butoxyethanol.
Revision just contains Isopropyl alcohol.

Isopropyl alcohol and 2-Butoxyethanol are a common tandem in many, if not most glass cleaners.
I do notice that the concentration of Isopropyl alcohol in the gallon concentrate is much greater percentage wise compared to the ReVision.
The percentage of 2-Butoxyethanol seems pretty stout in the gallon size concentrate as well.
To me, this is a good thing, but will never know until I try it, which I probably will.

There it is... :props:

Right? This is one of the best detailing products out there, IMO. I preferred this to Stoner Invisible Glass by a long mile (and I like Stoner). Poor man's Pinnacle Crystal Clear, if you will. Arguably better even, since you can use it on appliances and not limited strictly on glass.

It's often on sale, so that's another plus. Anyone thinking about trying this - I wouldn't hesitate. If you like Invisible Glass, you will dig Mothers ReVision.

The Pro Glass Cleaner Concentrate is not the same as our consumer ReVision Glass+Surface.

Oh great.
A Mothers Rep.
I have a few questions, if that is ok.

- Color Additive:
1. Is there any product performance benefit or compliment that relates to adding coloring to the liquid?
My guess would be no, but thought I would ask.

2. Is there anything relating to federal or state law that influences your company to add color additive to your glass cleaner?

Keep up the good work at Mothers.
I have tried:
- Mothers Clay Bar: Excellent.
- Mothers Revision Glass Cleaner: Excellent.
- Mothers Aluminum Mag and Wheel Polish: Good.
- Mothers California Gold Detail Spray: Very Good.

Look forward to trying more of your products.

1: Consumers have traditionally expected glass cleaners to be blue, so we made it blue. I recognize that many glass cleaners today are clear, but blue stands out over clear on a shelf.

2: There are no federal or state requirements to make a glass cleaner blue.

If you walk in a non-automotive store, and look at glass cleaners, the majority are blue. In an automotive store, it's about 50/50 blue vs clear.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I think in regards to marketing, your ReVision product stands out.
It definitely has its own identity and can stand out on a store shelf when placed next to other glass cleaners.
The coloring is also a very light concentration, and it works with the product packaging.
The trigger sprayer is also a solid performer, so I will be reusing it, along with this bottle.

Thank you again for your time.
