Coat Paint Sealant I decided to give the new formula a try. I wanted to use this product on a darker colored car to test how easy the application was. One of the best things about this product is that you do not After having experience with Detailer’s old formula for the Detailer's Pro Series Poli-need to you a cleaner wax before since it contains built-in bonding agents. These agents will clean and polish the paint eliminating the need for a cleaner wax .Detailer's Pro Series Poli-Coat Paint Sealant will protect your car from UV Rays, road salt, and other road grime. When using Detailer's Pro Series Poli-Coat Paint Sealant it can be applied by hand and give you the results you would get from a machine. When Using applying Detailer's Pro Series Poli-Coat Paint Sealant use thin coats since a little will go a long way. You will notice when applying Detailer's Pro Series Poli-Coat Paint Sealant I used the Gold Wax Finger Pockets to apply the sealant because they are soft and would not harm the paint.

After Applying Detailer's Pro Series Poli-Coat Paint Sealant I noticed an increase in the shine and felt the difference in the slickness. Unlike other paint sealant when using Detailer's Pro Series Poli-Coat Paint Sealant it last for a year or more. When wiping Detailer's Pro Series Poli-Coat Paint Sealant I used the Super Plush Junior Microfiber Towel since it was plush and super soft. This Product was one of the easiest sealants that I have applied. I did not have to go back over the entire vehicle because it did not leave streaks. If you want to keep your vehicle looking new then this is the product to use.

Benefits Of Using Detailer's Pro Series Poli-Coat Paint Sealant

- Paint protection for one year or more.
- Gives paint a wet look and slick feel.
- Can be applied by hand and still get amazing results.

Hhhmmm nobody seems interested in this product? I just ordered it, let's see how it goes.

I've used it many times, and it's just as good as WGDPS 3.0 or Menz PL.

This is something I've been looking for and don't know why I have not noticed it before. I use mostly Duragloss products and have been very pleased with them, especially their sealants and AquaWax. However, I have always wondered why they did not combine their bonding agent with their sealants, which is what DP has done with this poli-coat. For example, I have to buy a Duragloss sealant (such as 111) that costs $10 for 8 ounces. Then to enhance performance I must also buy their bonding agent (601) that costs $9, also for 8 ounces. When using this I should also use a paint cleanser (I use P21S) since 111 has no cleaning ability and is pure sealant. The description for the bonding agent also mentions nothing about a paint cleaner. On the other hand, DP says Poli-coat has enough cleaning ability that a separate cleaner is not required for fairly well maintained cars.

The Duragloss total price is still reasonable and it does not bother me but I then have to take two steps and lay down a coat of bonding agent followed by a coat of sealant. Or, I have to measure out a 4:1 ratio of sealant to bonding agent and mix them up in a separate bottle and apply them together. You have to measure it out exactly or you will waste product as the shelf life of this 4:1 mixture is measured in only days at best. Either way, it is more work than what I am reading for the Poli-coat which contains the bonding agent together with the sealant and paint cleaner in one 16 oz. bottle.

Another factor is that the protection for 111 is listed at six months and the DP protection is shown as one year. I also have to assume the looks of the DP sealant will be as good as 111 and probably just as slick. For all these reasons, it appears the Poli-coat is at least worth a try.

It lasts a year? I have a bottle of the old formula that I have yet to use. Durability like that could easily get it in the que

Older thread I see, but I just ordered a few bottles seeing they are on sale. I just got done shoveling 32" of snow here in NJ, so I suspect it will be a few weeks before I get to trying it out. But very much looking forward to it.

I elected not to buy any products during these last sales (and they were awesome sales) just because of the freezing temperatures. Just not worth paying for something and losing it this time of year.

I found it to be a great sealant. I got 8 months out of it. Post up your thoughts when you use it.

I should point out that I am in Southern California where it hardly rained the year I used it. Regardless it's still a great sealant.

yeah I was really hoping for around 2-3 months since I'm in Indiana where it rains a good bit.

Being a newbie, what is the application process of this sealant? Apply, wipe, let it sit and bond overnight?

Apply it thin, let it haze and then wipe off.
Wow, no need to let it cure overnight like other sealants?

Another 2 questions. Can I layer a coat of carnauba wax over this sealant? What do I use to remove it completely down to clear coat?

It does have a cure time like many other sealants.

1. Apply
2. Allow to haze (varies, I've been 15min to an hour. Do the swipe test.)
3. Buff off haze/residue
4. Allow to cure (I've read 8-24 depending on environment)
5. Top with wax if you want

To remove it, my vote is polish your car with a fine polish. Another option is to use a prewax cleaner or coating prep.

If cure time is a major issue, look into duragloss 105 combined with duragloss 601. 601 acts as a catalyst to shorten the cure time of 105 dramatically.
