Dear All...
I am new to detailing and tried to use mez products on a friends SL 500( black color)
but the product gave up on me
drying too fast and flaking wonder if it has expired, manufacture date 2009
we took the car to waxoly, i was lucky to get my hands on the compund they used.
3 step and finally 100+
Waxoyl compound:
1. buffing ( 1000-1500 grits removers over spray and orange peel)with lambswool
2. finishing compound (1500-2500 grits)
3. final finish with back pads and WOW is an understatement.
great results, even the clay bar was superb, my wolfgang was sticky and i had a difficult time but the waxoyl personal used just plain tap water and was able to get great results.
i am new and i look forward to setting my own detailing business and these big names Protech, waxoyl, zeibarth, 3M have a great reputation but the staff are like robots they have no idea or knowledge about anything they are trained to use these 3 compounds and seal it whatever the mother company says.
Waxoyl product is soo simple with 2 pads 3 chemicals and 1 sealant they offer a glass finish and charge almost $900/-
1 brand that offers every thing, i dont detail i only manage the business and my staff are Protech and waxoly trained, i need help with chemicals.
but my staff love DSPS 3.0 results over 100+
in any case protech and waxoly give me run for business eventually my price and relationship is an advantage but i cant run the show at this rate as i charge $250
@
All senoir's please help me until i attend detailing class to understand the behaviours of different chemicals this market has to offer.
i cant use Megauir's although i have a lot of respect for them only because of the fact that they are too commercial in my market as they prefer to retail and do less business detailing car's.
most of my clients are within my own network and some times they are forgiving.
i manly work on Ferrrai, Maserati, Porsche
regards and thank's in advance to all senior's
waiting eagerly to hear
