Hello All,

This was among the products to try out and test in the package we received from Autogeek.

First off, I cannot top Mike's review! In fact there have been some awesome reviews of products lately!

The first thing I will say is this product smells fantastic. It is one of the best smelling products I have. Smells good enough to eat (BUT DO NOT EAT IT).

Why my review wont be that great is I really didnt have any nasty dirty exhaust tips to try this out on. My Honda Accord burns pretty clean so the tips werent very dirty.

It might have been because of that, or because my tips might be clearcoated? (after market Borla exhaust) that I never got that blackening effect the jar says will happen. I used on a small amount and a little did go a long way.

Before, not really dirty:

Product has a paste creamy consistency and the included sponge is firm for cleaning of this type:

This is a different car with equally clean tips. There were some water spots on the sides that I never tried to remove. Probably could have removed them using a variety of different products, but this product did remove them effortlessly. Not sure if they can be made out in this photo:

Does everyone need a dedicated exhaust tip cleaner and polishing product? Who knows. But for those that might want one, this is a nice one. It smells so good its very pleasurable to use. And a little does go a long way. My guess is that small jar will last me a decade or more.

Enjoy!

im interested in the sponge....can that be bought without buying the polish?

Like most of us i have about 4 tubs of metal polish ranging from optimum to mothers and i'm looking for a better media to apply it with other than microfiber....

I think that is the lake country exhaust applicator. I like it a lot it's the perfect size for modern cars. The P21S and S100 sponge is WAY too big for most vehicles. I don't see it on the website yet though.

That is probably what it is. I dont see it on the site sold separately either. Yes, its perfect for exhausts and its very firm and a coarse, but not so much to scratch. Its small enough to work into the inside of the tips that the eye sees clearly.

Lookin' good Jaret. :props:

The sponge is called the Lake Country Exhaust Polishing Sponge. It will be on the What's New page in about an hour. :dblthumb2:

So please double this review for that sponge as well. It is perfect for the task of cleaning exhaust tips!

I would also note its very firm and rounded, so its shape is ideal for getting on the inside of exhaust tips, especially one shaped like mine.:dblthumb2:

Great review Jaret!! It was a good read and it looks like it did an amazing job! Thanks for sharing.
