I recently purchased a few PB products as I kept hearing great things about them, especially a product of theirs called Bug Squash. My wife and I took a little weekend trip to Monterey, CA and when we got back there were thousands of little bugs all over her front bumper, head lights, windshield and side mirrors.

There was no better time to use my recently purchased Bug Squash and hope that it works for me as it has worked for many others in removing those pesky bugs. Product was diluted 3:1.

Below are the before pictures:

Below are the results:

I was really impressed on how easily the bugs simply washed off after I hosed it down. I don't have a pressure washer so this was all done with regular water pressure with a fire hose attachment. All that was left was the skit marks of the bugs that deflected off and it easily wiped off with no pressure when I did my regular wash. This product rocks and I didn't even use it full strength so it really goes a long way. :dblthumb2:

I just wanted to give you my experience with this product and thank you for listening...err reading.

If you are in the market for a bug remover or were ever curious of this product, I highly recommend it.

:props: good to hear. i have this on hand for when the "bug" season hits PA.

This article is perfect timing! I am planning a trip to Florida in 3 weeks and I was wondering what product I could use to get those pesky bugs off when I get there and on the trip back home. I plan on having a nice protection on the vehicle before I leave but I also want an easy to use debugger. I think you just convinced me what to get.

Bug Squash 3:1 is a nice pre-wash product on bugs.

So you just sprayed it on, let it dwell and hosed off?

Last year I really went back and forth between this product and 1z Einszett Anti-Insekt. I went with the 1z but felt that both were great products.

I've used Duragloss Bug Remover, 1z Einszett Anti-Insekt and PoorBoys Bug Squash. All are good but Anti-Insekt is best. If you let it sit for 10 minutes virtually every bug will wash off with a stream of water. The others still require a little scrubbing.

Anyone have like 3-4 oz of this stuff for trade?
I need some before my FL trip lol

Thanks everyone. Here are my steps for this product.

1) Dilute product 3:1
2) Rinse off area that has bugs
3) Apply PB BS and let sit for 1 minute
4) Using a fire hose attachment, blast off bugs

That's it. There was no agitation required. This product is so LSP safe. You can also use it full strength for those really embedded baked on bugs.

Thanks for the review. I'd love to see a 50/50 of nothing or water pre-soak on one side vs. Bug Squash on the other, or UWW+ or ONR QD strength vs. Bug Squash.

When I hosed it off prior to spraying PBBS the bugs didn't even budge. I've had bigger bugs in the past that do come off with the hose but not all. PBBS took care of those remaining bugs with ease. Next road trip I do I'll see if I can do a 50/50 test between UWW and PBBS. I have a strong feeling UWW will not stand a chance however. I use UWW a lot but doesn't do a great job on bugs unless there's agitation involved. Even then, I have to respray the bumper to get them all off cometely.

Yeah, ok...I guess I'm just anti-Bug Squash. I think it's a bunch of marketing hype. Perhaps I'm wrong.

Not sure why you're anti-BS but it's understandable. I too had my doubts about it before I actually tried it. It quickly made me a believer after its first use. I'll tell you what, shoot me a PM with your mailing info and I'll send you a sample of it to try out. For the record, I'm in no way affiliated with Poorboy's World.
