This my first review so I hope you all enjoy it.

On the interior of my vehicle, a 2000 Toyota Celica GT, there are textured charcoal gray surfaces that are naturally flat, especially my dash. I have been researching products to use on these surfaces to add a little shine to complete the finished look of the rest of my vehicle. I wanted to add a little pop to my interior surfaces.

I found Natural Look because I am a big fan of Poorboy's World products and I liked that fact that it was water based and could be used on a number of different surfaces. A sample came in with my order today so I decided to do a review and see how the product looked on my surfaces.

The products I used:

Before applying the Natural Look, I would clean the surface with Meguiar's APC+ diluted at 10:1. I used the tape and Sharpie to outline and indicate where product was applied and used a cheap microfiber (yellow) to clean the surface and one of Griot's Garage's interior cloths to apply and buff the Natural Look.

Here is the dash section of my interior:

And here is the surface where the product will be applied and tested:

As you can see, it is a highly textured, flat surface:

I sprayed my yellow microfiber with APC+ 10:1 and thoroughly wiped and dried the surface to be dressed. The Natural Look says that it is a cleaner as well as a dressing, but I felt that it was best to start with a fresh surface:

After cleaning, I applied the Natural Look to one side of the dash surface and used 3M Blue Painter's Tape to seperate the two sections. One would have dressing and one would be left just clean and undressed. The instructions on the bottle say to spray the product on an applicator and spread on the surface, which I did with one side of my green microfiber, but I found that with the two ounce sprayer, it was easiest to spray directly on the surface because not much product was being distributed.

Natural Look has a smell that reminded me of cherry cough syrup. It has a very fluid consistency, not a gel or heavy dressing. It looks and has the same consistency as Griot's Garage Speed Shine. It left the cherry smell in my interior after application.

After applying the product, I waited approximately 30 seconds to buff, which is suggested on the bottle to enhance the gloss (no time limit given). The instructions also say that another coat could be applied to enhance the gloss so I took it a step further and divided the panel into three sections: clean and undressed, two coats of Natural Look and one coat of Natural Look:

The first coat left almost a satin finish and two coats definitely enhanced the gloss and gave me the sheen I have been looking for on my interior dash - not an overbearing shine, but enough to have a nice finish.

I really enjoyed using this product and I feel as if I could make this my go-to product for my interior and and the surfaces of client's vehicles, for my part-time business. Being such a versatile product (can be used on vinyl, rubber, plastic and more), it could cut down on the amount of products I use. It seems as if this is an already diluted and sold Meguiar's Hyper Dressing.

Although it is a liquid, it wasn't runny or difficult to apply and it also gave a nice, smooth feel to the surface after drying. This two ounce bottle for $5.99 goes a long way and provides for a chance to see if you like the product before purchasing a large quantity. I think that I might just be purchasing a bigger bottle though.

I also applied it to my tires and will post my impressions on that application and how it held up after a week of exposure.

Hope you enjoyed this review. Any feedback or comments would be appreciated.

Nice review! I should have bought a bottle during the last BOGO. Sounds like two bottles will last quite a while. Good job!

Thanks, Mark! I regret not buying it on BOGO as well. A few sprays really go a long way here.

I love Natural Look and have been using it for years on my truck. Leave the perfect amount of gloss on the plastics. Not to shiny...not to matte..

Yep, I have been using this - got this on BOGO - I LOVE THIS STUFF!

I think its funny how some people love a product and some people don't. I have tried this product and had terrible streaking. I just couldn't get it to work properly. I only used it the one time, but I can say that at this point I'm not a fan. Maybe I will try it again.

And that's what I like. Just enought shine.

Interesting. There was some initial streaking when I first applied the product, but after drying and buffing, the application area was smooth and streak free.

Thanks for the detailed review you put together. :xyxthumbs:

I was actually thinking on giving this product a try, now, I will definitely check it out next time it's on BOGO.

Great Review..

I got the sample of this long time ago, a little goes a long way. Loved the way it looks an smells. So when it went on Bogo I jumped on it..

I have to agree that this is a nice product! :xyxthumbs:

I picked up some NL during the BOGO and I think it's my new favorite tire dressing. The consistency makes application extremely easy (I've been using a foam brush) and a little goes a long way.

Great review!! I love the stuff and got it on BOGO. I gave one to my brother. He hasn't tried it yet but he loved the way it smelled in my car.

Excellent review. I have some PB's Leather Stuff but never used it on plastic trim. I may try a side by side with that now to see how it compares.

Thanks! I have heard nice things about the Leather Stuff.

Thanks. A little definitely goes a long way. I like the smell, but it really isn't my favorite thing.

I applied it to my tires at the same time I did the dash and will be posting my impressions on the tire application and it's durability. I really liked the look it produced - gave me a gloss, but it wasn't overbearing.

Thanks! The smell definitely lingers for a while.

:updated:

It has been a week since I completed my review of Poorboy's World Natural Look and not only did I use it on my interior, but I applied it to my tires to see how it would look and if it would hold up or not.

The tires had been cleaned hours before with Meguiar's APC+ diluted at 4:1. I applied one coat to each tire. I sprayed the product directly on the tire and used an Eagle One Tire Swipe to spread the product around the surface. Here is how my front tire on the driver's side looked immediately after application:

And this is the tire approximately an hour after application. At this time, the product dried to the touch, however, a slight greasiness could be felt.

Since last Thursday, the car had not been washed and was exposed to light soil and dust. It wasn't exposed directly to rain, however, I drove on wet roads. These photos were taken this morning a week after applying the Natural Look and before washing.

I rinsed the wheels and tires and you can see there is some nice beading on the tire. The tire wasn't exposed to any cleaners or chemicals as I had just rinsed them and used soap and water to clean my wheels.

I finished washing and drying and this was how the tire looked:

All in all, I was pretty impressed as to how this product fared out on the tires as it's not a dedicated tire dressing. The durability was OKAY and it's not a product I would apply every time on my daily driver. This seems good for garaged vehicles and show cars, for which durability is not an issue. I have been a fan of Wolfgang's Black Diamond Tire Gel for a long time and I will continue using that product on my tires, but my dash will be maintained with Natural Look.

Has anyone tried this on coated leather seats? Autogeek as this advertised as follows:

"Natural Look Dressing is formulated to soak into dry, brittle leather and vinyl and convert them into healthy, hydrated surfaces with a low-gloss finish, but completely dry to the touch."

It doesn't say that on the product description on Poorboy's website. Reason I am asking is I am debating between this and PB's Leather Stuff which I would assume is more for uncoated and aniline leather.

nice review ... very good product and priced right too !

I've used it on my leather seats (black 2012 Altima 3.5SR). Applied it very sparingly...leave it on for 30 - 45 secs, then a light buff. Leaves a nice matte, satin finish (after the light buffing) I like it, although the scent can get a little overpowering the first 24 hours after applying. Going to compare it vs Blackfire Interior Protectant my next interior detail.

I've used it on clean leather with good results and most plastic and vinyl. The key to avoid streaking and get the slight gloss/satin finish is a through wipe down. I usually let it dwell for about a minute then throughly wipe down the surface. On the label it says to spray product but I much prefer to pore from a flip top with a smallish hole.

Additionally one of my personal rides is a GM vehicle that has that charcoal(black/grayish) interior that never looks quite right to me with most protectants. PB WNL give just the right look!
