Rolite Metal Polish is an easy-to-use one step metal polish that imparts a brilliant shine on most bare metals including chrome, aluminum, stainless steel, and more. 5 oz.

So i got this hesitantly on an order awhile back because i'm always on the hunt for the best metal polish. I didn't have any intentions on posting a review till I saw the results.

Anyone who has Metal un-coated wheels can share my feelings on how irritatingly fast they start to look like crap & the upkeep on them is crazy, but without further ado, below are the results.

Pretty astounding considering I did it by hand & that one section took me less than 5 mins. This is by far in my Top 2 for metal polishes & I like the fact that it works for a huge range of metals which is a plus

PROS:
Works Great!
Price point is "decent"
easy application
Outstanding results
Huge range of metals it works on, even fiberglass. (as they claim)

CONS: Like any metal polish, the smell.

OVERALL: A Great Product, hands down.

First of all, kudos for you success since starting here at AGO. I view your site from time to time. You've put a lot of effort into it.
Secondly, great review :props:

Q1?
How long until this hand applied process oxidizes to the point of needing re-application?

Q2?
How much correction does this product offer by machine application?

:thankyousign:

Thank you, much appreciated :xyxthumbs:
Still many long roads ahead my friend :dblthumb2:

Q1: Will need time to answer that but will update accordingly when I see it starting to wear off.

Q2: Another answer i'll have to get back to you on, just need to find something big enough to polish that I can use the DA on :buffing:

No bout a doubt it. Just keep doing what you're doing :props:

Here's a little tip that may help you along that road. Mike Phillips talks about using "gloss points" to illuminate highly polished panels. Rather than to "jewel" the entire paint work, he will jewel just the high points on a fender and such.

Translate this to metal polishing means to hand polish the face and spokes if the wheel to a desired level, then use a high speed buffer to bling out the barrels or lip (rim) of the wheel.

You can use a set up like in this thread without removing the wheel to bling out the rim- which will throw out highly reflected light to the parts which are less polished...a metal finishers short cut when needed.

have used this product in past with nice results ....

Looks promising. Those look like my Torq thrust 2s same size and everything.
I have trouble polishing the spokes because I believe it's a different type of aluminum than the lips, which are billet. I've been using white diamond metal polish with excellent results.
