Hey Fellas, I was the winner for the SON1C Wax Carnaubavore giveaway.

I'd like to give a BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE to Drew (Creator of the SON1C Wax Carnaubavore)
If my memory serves me right, I believe Drew and I both got into detailing around the same time, and being able to witness another member on the forum, creating / experimenting / producing their OWN BRAND OF WAX. It is astonishing, the time Drew invested into making this wax, took MANY experiments, before it took this final form.

Anyways, on to the Review.
I applied this Wax on one of my family members vehicle.
A 2013 Subaru Crosstrek, with about 3k miles.
It has NEVER BEEN POLISHED / CLAYED. Only weekly maintenance wash.

I proceed from just a Wash and apply.

*It has been a LONG WHILE, since I touched a jar of wax. I have been a coating person ever since i learn about their existence*

So I decided to apply light on this wax, however since i mention this vehicle was never polished or clay. It did give me a hard time applying lightly. So i proceeded to saturate my applicator with more wax for easier application.

50/50 Shot (Side has been buffed off with a SOFT MF towel, with a mist of QD)

End Results

Hope you enjoyed this review.
And for the folks that haven't tried this SON1C Wax Carnaubavore.
I suggest you to hurry up a buy a jar, because you will not be disappointed. And also show some support for our Forum Member (Drew), Screen Name : SON1C.

Thank You Everyone and Drew for creating this SON1C Wax Carnaubavore!!

I hear its expensive. Is it anything more special than less costly waxes? Do you guys like this because a member created it and you want to show support? I just want an unbiased opinion.

I did purchase it to support a member, Drew's a good dude.

However, not only does the wax rock, it's worth it hands down. It's more fun to work with and looks better than some Dodo Indy league wax fellas. It smells great, applies easy and a little goes a long way. Plus the jar is a very healthy 4.4oz, its a lot of product.

I'd put it up there with waxes in its range for sure!

1. Personally, I believe this wax did a better job than Dodo PH + BV Pro Layered.
2. This wax smells great, and is easy to apply.
3. The Gloss is there, the pictures speaks for itself.

I HAVENT had the chance to wash this vehicle yet, but when i do.
I will be sure to take some pics of the beading and report back in this thread.

From an unbiased cost somparison

Cranaubavore 120ml/4.05 oz $69.99 = $17.41 per oz.

DoDo Blue Velvet or any 250ml Dodo Product

250ml/8.45 oz $69.99 = $8.28 per oz

Pinnacle Souveran 8oz $95.00 $11.87 oz

and these are without any discounts which are usually available

this is merely a cost comparison, I have both the dodo and the pinnacle but have too many waxes now to justifying the purchase of the carnaubavore

I have gotten great results using the SON1C wax. Gives a very nice glass like, wet look and car has very sharp reflections. Two added bonuses can be used in direct sunlight and on a 40 degree day. The cost is reasonable imo.

I should have a update SOON, it has been about 2 weeks since the application....
Weather is getting pretty cold, so maybe this weekend or the coming.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZtK3SnuAc4]What is the size of SON1C Wax Carnaubavore Wax? How big is SON1C Wax Carnaubavore? - YouTube[/video]
this actually brings it down to $13.7 -- this is recently updated to 150 ml / 5.07 (5.1) oz
keep in mind a few things
this wax is packed with carnauba which is a very expensive ingredient
it utilizes only natural solvents which are very expensive in comparison to petro based solvents which all or most dodo waxes use, cannot comment on souveran

I'm talking 50 dollars per gallon vs 5 dollars per gallon, not exact but this is just an example as I don't know all of their ingredients nor am I bashing other waxes in anyway and this does not make my wax "superior" it's simply all natural.

This wax is individually digitally serialized, this is very expensive to do which is why you do not see this on any other waxes.

Also simply a wholesale factor that my cost for ingredients will be much higher than these larger companies based on volume buying.
