Hi guys, CM8 here with another review on the Wolfgang Polishing Pad Rejuvenator

I got this product to try out, I needed to something to complete my order of $150 to qualify for free shipping to the sunshine state.

The Product

I was a little disappointed to find out that the product looked nothing like the picture AutoGeek has on their website. The product's picture on the store looks completely full and plump with product. Upon grabbing the bag, it came inside another bigger bag, with some product leaking. Upon opening the bag to grab the 8 oz baggie with the product, all of it came leaking out from a small slit at the bottom. Also, the product only fills about 1/4 of the Wolfgang bag......whatever, I'll live with it.

The Test

I went ahead and poured in 1 scoop to a 1 gallon bucket of water. You can use 2 scoops for added cleaning power. The product granules fall quickly to the bottom, so make sure you stir the water to help dissolve the solution. The water will quickly turn into a lemonade looking solution.

The Pads

I cleaned 4 pads, but I'll only be showing 2 for this test. A Meguiar's W8006 polishing pad, and a LC Gray pad. Take note, these pads have been left to sit for 3 days since using them on a clients vehicle. There not too bad, I clean on the fly often.

Microfiber Towels

The product claims you can also clean MF products, lets put that to the test.

The Results

After soaking the pads & MF towels for 15 minutes, gave them a little wirl in the solution by hand & agitated pads with a brush per directions.

Conclusion

This is a great product, It works as described, has a nice citrus smell. However, unlike what I did, its best to have a bucket of water with this solution ready to throw pads+mf products right away after using. For this test, I wanted to see its cleaning ability even with caked on product.

Final Thoughts

You know for $12.99 for an 8oz bag, your better off getting a 16oz tub of Detailer's Pride Polishing Pad Rejuvenator for $7 dollars more. If your a die-hard WolfGang fan, this is a must buy. As far as MF towels are concerned, this is a great product to Pre-Rinse them before you throw them in the washer with a dedicated MF cleaning solution.

Let me know what you guys think!

I think this was a great review!

looks to have done its work on the pads but Like you said it would be nothing more than a pre soak for the micro f towels before a dedicated wash.

I've decided to purchase one of the Megs pad cleaning kits as I found a steal online for them.

I think the detailers pride is prob the way to go though.

I have a few packs left of the snappy pad cleaners. They work pretty good and do their job but I would like something a bit stronger honestly

Thanks again for the review :props:

I agree, there are better and stronger alternatives out there.

interesting review on a seldom discussed product :xyxthumbs:
I'd like to see pads that were used on SS paint!

That was the original plan, but the customers car I was working on had CC paint when I tested it. Funny, everyone on the Acura forum tried to tell me that color (Acura TSX) was SS paint. Newbs.
