I recieved this Wheel Shmitt last week and wanted to give some time in the field before posting a review. I've used it on over 20 wheel and tires of various shapes and styles. It is just as comfortable as my Wash ShMitt. I have not once dropped it or had it slide off my hand. It conforms to all types of wheel styles getting in grooves and crevices. I've noticed it "conforms" and takes on a shape to mold into the size needed to clean. When it comes to tires, it cleans them more effectively than any brush I've ever used. It easily travels into the wheel well making it a snap to clean them up. The ShMitt's large pores cause a nice foaming action to occur. Clean was so easy due the large pores also. Mine was air dry in one hour. If you do not want to use harsh chemical to clean with, this product will aid in cleaning with you normal wash water.

I recommend this product 100%.

The ShMitt holds so much water....

Great review, Justin! Sounds like I might give it a try too. The only thing for it is no harsh chemicals. After all, it's going to be on your hand. But since it does a fine job already, it won't be necessary.

Thanks for the review, Justin!! Looks like it'll be less tiring on the hands to use that ShMitt than gripping a brush, to scrub the tires/wheels. No scraping your knuckles too. And you know how well brushes hold liquid!! NOT!!
Wash ShMitt and Wheel ShMitt will definitely be in my next order. Thanks for awesome reviews on BOTH.

Great review Justin. I'm definitely going to have to consider investing in one of these too. In my experience sheepskin mitts last an even shorter amount of time when dedicated to wheel use (not that I was using new ones for wheels ;) ). I can't wait to hear your reviews of some of the other ShMitts you have.

Awesome review justin. Now I must add another thing to my list. Do you feel like it will last as long as the wash shmitt?

BTW, Xterra - avatar looks AWESOME

Me too! I don't buy until Justin dose a review.:D

Great review Justin. :) I will be doing one shortly on the same product. I like the idea of something flat and that will cover and protect your hands for wheel wells. :)

Justin, doesn't mind being used when it comes to trying out new detailer toys, I mean Tools! :p

As always Justin your reviews are Greatly Appreciated and done so well. How abrasive is the Wheel Schmitt? I am concerned about scratching Chrome Wheels. Your input is always appreciated. Thanks JoeD

It's not abrasive to me at all. I actually used it as a bug scrubber on my truck's front end. I took out my work lamps and there were NO scratched or swirls. Chrome should be just fine. I could never think of my mitt being rougher than most brushes out there.

So it should be fine on clear coated rims? It feels kinda abrasive to me or at least compared to the regular one.

Great review, I really need to get one of these as well as opposed to just having to find old crap sponges!

I use it on my CC'd rims and no damage to date. Another great Edge product for sure.
