I just recently started using the rinseless wash method and I really like it. I use two buckets, one with the solution of rinseless wash and then I have a rinse bucket and a few plush mf towels.
I usually mix up two gallons of solution to wash my car but often have about another gallon leftover of solution. I don't want to waste any product.
Is anyone reusing their solution for the next wash or should I just discard it?

I save mine all the time.

I have a bucket strictly for rinseless solution. And since I use the Gary Dean method any unused solution is clean and good as new. So I just throw a cheap lid over my bucket, leave a few towels in there, and use at a later date.

I was just worried it might not be as effective if left in the bucket for a week or longer. You haven't noticed a difference in performance?

Well if your using the Gary Dean method than yeah, save that stuff for sure as its not dirty but if you use a designated wash media, i.e. Aqua sponge, the cleaning solution sometimes gets a little dirty and what I do is clean my tires/wheels with a pair of mf gloves, they always come out clean! Also, when I feel the engine bay is getting dirty to my standards I use the same pair of mf gloves to clean that with the left over too.

Nope I haven't noticed any difference and I'm sure I've used solution that has been well over a week old.

Only problem is I leave the bucket in the garage so the water turns cold and I feel rinseless washes work better with warm water.

With the Garry dean method, you only need one bucket as there are no towels to rinse. And I also save my solution, extra goes back in Jerry can or sprayer for future use. No degradation noticed over sev months time.

Thanks guys. If it looks a little dirty I will probably just throw it out. I'm not currently using the Garry dean method, maybe one day.
Good tip with the mf gloves I'll have to give that a try.

I got them from Autozone, $4.99 per glove and I use them on the tires, wheels, wheelwells and enine bay and because its a glove you never lose grip because your basically wearing the wash instrument, LOL!

If I am using 2 bucket with wash mitts, I throw them out. No matter how well you rinse the mitts in the 2nd bucket, I always find dirt that settles at the bottom in the solution bucket.

When I use the GD method, I save the solution.
With all the bugs these days, I need to do a wipe down on the front bumper and the side view mirrors after every highway drive.

Well, if you always have a gallon left over, and since you are using the GD method, you could just make a gallon less of solution each time. Keep the dilution ratio the same, just compensate for less volume over water.

^ It's probably because of the grit guard.

I'm not using a grit guard in my solution bucket solely because of wasted product.

Oh.... please use a grit guard and if possible on both buckets :)
Unless you will be going the GD route...

If I don't see any grit in the solution bucket I don't see a problem, but with vehicles that are very dirty I could see a problem arise.

They need to come out with a low profile grit guard for rinseless washes ha.

Those of you guys with smaller cars that use the GD method, how many mf towels do you use? I'm asking because I need to step up and try this out and I'm thinking about picking up a pack of the green GG mf towels that they suggest using for their waterless washes, thus meaning their a bit more plush. They're green and come in a 3 pack and since my car has a good build up of protection on it at all times I'm thinking that 3 pack should be enough, flipping the towel over using both sides should get the job done, what do you guys think?

6-7 towels : 48 to 56 sides. 2 gallons of rinseless wash.

If there is a little bit of rinseless wash solution left, its best to just chuck it, unless your working indoors in a dust free environment. The same pollen, dust, and twigs that land on your hood out of know where are landing in your bucket.

I'd get ten, just to be sure - two for the roof, one for the hood, one for the front bumper, four for the doors (quarter panels included), and another two for the trunk and rear bumper. Since you're buying in packs of three, I'd get four packs, for twelve towels in total - you probably won't need all of them unless the car is particularly dirty, but it never hurts to have a spare towel or two, just in case.

I wouldn't mind trying out the GD method, but I hate washing towels ha.

Umi and Swan, thank you very much for the input. As far as chucking the old stuff using the GD method, well I can now do my rinseless washes inside, so I'd be saving the unused wash solution for sure, I've got lids already for when I need to go mobile where the water isn't good and/or I have no access to a hose of any kind.

Hey Klasse, I know you love Duragloss products. How do you like the rinseless wash? I'm probably going to pick some up on my next order. How does it compare to ONR?
