This customer wanted a wash & spray wax. The bottom of the car had the most road grime. I decided to wash the car inside the shop (AC FTW) using the gary dean wash method.

I added about 1.5oz of McKee's Rinse Free Wash & Wax to about 3 gallons of water.

I pre-soaked 4 microfiber towels.

i Pre-soaked the panel. with this product @ spray wax ratio.

You can see some of the grime.

The pre-soak did a great job breaking down the grime.

I start to clean the panel in a slow snake pattern.

I used the spray wax/detailer as a drying aid after every panel was washed.

If you want to read the write up I did about how to make spray wax out of this product the link will be below.

Nice work. Still, despite all these reviews, I cant get my head around rinseless washes. Guess I just dont need to with a nice front yard and a hose.

BTW, I dont think you can call it the Garry Dean method unless you use his special juice :)

Jaret, I was the same way before. I didn't want to use rinseless washing on my car because it just felt unsafe. Until I moved to an apartment and I was forced to do it. Or not wash the car at all lol! To this day, I still prefer waterless washing over rinseless. The only rinseless wash product I will use is N-914.

Alot of people feel the same, soap, rinseless, waterless, at the end of the day is just lubrication to remove the dirt safely. the rinseless concentrates have very slippery lubricating polymers to help safely guide the dirt off the vehicle.

These waterless/rinseless wash methods have gotten me out of alot of jams when I had no hose access on a mobile job.

If I did have a show car with flawless paint and it was on the dirtier side, I would still wait till I had hose access. Being that the hose is really good at removing the lose dirt/debris that can potentially scratch.

My Jeeps clear coat is in the middle of soft/hard and it takes rinseless washes without any marring really well.

Like you my father is one of those that just does not feel right about rinseless washes, When I would perform them before polishing he felt as if the cars where still dirty. He also thinks no soap cleans a car like dish soap as well soo lol

4 towels to clean a car that size, hmmm, maybe the top side wasn't too bad. I would think about 6 towels for a car that size but nonetheless it came out great and that particular McKee's product is a "sleeper" in the sea of awesome RW's out right now 👍👍

Thanks for the review!

This is one of my most used products and agree that very good. Always fuss free and nice glowing shine. And very obvious it go protection in it.

I been meaning to do a review but have never got around to it. Now I'll have to try the spray wax ratio. :dblthumb2:

Nice write up Joe and props for crediting Garry Dean for the multiple towel rinseless wash method .

Rinseless washing is far and away my favorite way to wash my vehicles, and I also use the GDWM as you did in this review.

Just as Mike Phillips' advocates I will ONLY do rinseless washes for cleaning my classic cars.

Rinseless is safe, effective and takes less time. It's a great way to keep your car looking sharp!

I checked my order history yesterday to see when I bought this.

It was one year ago today! :birthday:

This was a parking lot detail from the other day with N-914 presoak and Wash & Wax rinseless with Car Wax while I clayed.

The top of the vehicle wasnt badly soiled. The bottoms had the majority of the dirt.

Also I only have done the GDM a handful of times. If the car was on the dirtier side i would of used more towels or mulitple mitts!

And i agree its a really nice product, I have been having fun with it.
