Thought some of you might like to see this - hopefully it's ok to post here.

Just bought two of these elsewhere including the mitts (which I really don't want / need) to throw in the trunk with my mini-detailling kit on my rather frequent road trips. This will allow me to do a rinsless or even regular wash as needed. They collapse to 1-3/4" and hold 2.9 gallons - and, I got them for $5.99 each!

We'll see how they work - I'm dubious of the quality but for the price I had to give it a try. :xyxthumbs:

Where did you get them? I like the idea for camping too!

These types of buckets have been around for a long time, albeit some have modern twists...just google them. They work very well, but many are made with different materials, so do some research and watch out for which material lasts the best. Some are what I'd call vynil, others are wax coated canvas (cotton) and the wax coating will need to be reapplied from time to time and work very well since cotton is so naturally flexible, others are synthetic canvas (modern boat/T-top material) materials coated with modern waterproofing. Stick with any of the canvas types and you'll be good to go.

Collapsible buckets are available from RV dealers. They are oval and take very little space when closed and placed into the carry case.

Got 'em at woot, where I think the items change daily - they're gone now. :( Hopefully it's ok to post that...

You guy's need to get out more often. I have had one of those in the RV for quite a few years from Camping World. Works great when camping and something needs a rinseless wash.
