Just up the road from the hotel is Charlies, only been there once but they have a pool table and usually a live band.
 
grab the rental ... head 90 minutes south and your at the Hardrock Cafe Casino and Hotel in South Florida.

I work at the Hardrock lol, i live in miami. If i dont want to do anything to wild or else i wont be able to wake up at 8am
