While using megs 105 and megs maroon pad @ 900-1300rpm rotary I seem to keep getting "gummed up" spots. These spots will not buff down until I go over it again with more product. WHY??? I use about quarter size on the pad with occasional QD. Temp around here these days runs 50-60 degrees if that matters. Any thoughts??

There's been some discussion of some of the quirks with M105 over on Autopia.org You might check it out there. I recall something being said about it gumming up you need to prime the pad differently or something...

Try mixing in a little ultrafina or Menz FF with the 105. It gives you more working time and finishes down nicer with less gumming up of the pad.

I mix it in a separate small squeeze bottle. Good luck
