Rotary & Rayon pads

So recently I cleaned the glass on my vehicle using a DA / Rayon pads / Griots fine glass polish. Like in the past it did an excellent job of cleaning it, but when the sun hits it a certain way I can see a ton of micro pits in the glass (not surprised as the glass is original and 13 years old). Would a rotary and rayon pads clean those up better then a DA? I have plenty of the fine polish left and have a tub of celerium oxide (sp) that I can mix into a slurry if necessary.

Curious to hear others experience with a rotary and rayon pad combination.
