Rotary swirls?

So this is a follow up to another post on a mirror repair. There was a slightly raised spot in the repaired paint. I figured he just ran a rotary on it so seeing buffer trails, assuming that is what I am seeing here, is not that surprising.

When I have some 'extra time' I will run my GG 3" or 6" on it with HD speed and see what comes of it.

Speed should help that out a lot. May need to use a light cutting pad though.
