Got a new Rupes 21 Mark II. Worked great for about 30 minutes. Now when I pull the trigger I just get a humming sound. Power supply is good. Does anyone know of anything else I may be able to easily check that could be causing this problem??

Are you plugged into an extension cord or direct into the wall?
 
Sorry to hear that, Dave.

Probably not something you want to hear having a brand new machine, but what I would do if it were mine is to try and spin the armature by hand (while unplugged, of course). Then plug it back in and try hitting the trigger.

If it takes off and starts, that's usually an indication of bad brushes, brush contact, bad armature, or a combo. :/.
