How are you guys deciding which one to buy? What would the long neck version be better for over the short neck and vice versa?
 
Yeah may have to cancel mine

Pre-ordered the long neck. Figured it would allow better reach for all of the exotics I am not doing.

I asked Ray and that is what he recommended. Good enough for me.

This has nothing to do with the Short vs. Long neck, just which drive insert that was being used at the time. They both come with the rotary insert, and 2 DA inserts, plus the attachments.

To clarify - there is absolutely NOTHING different about the two tools and what they do with the pads or what pads they use. Literally its just long or short neck, everything else about the 2 of them is identical. Same RPM, same accessories included in the kit, same pads... everything. They both include all 3 movement types (3mm orbital, 12mm orbital, rotary) they both include 2 brushes, backing plates, an assortment of pads, 150ml coarse and fine compound, sandpapers, towels.
 
I told my girlfriend this is the last polisher I order I swear!!! Still waiting on my pe14 to get here and now ordering the long neck kit!
 
Unfortunately no one knows exactly when they will arrive. I heard rumors of mid April though. Apparently they will be shipped to their HQ in Colorado then disseminated to all the venders. I will have both variants.
 
The challenge of trans-atlantic shipping of tools is the black hole things go into when they're between Europe and here and the subsequent handling by customs that can be short or long (depending on their mood). The best answer we can provide now is that some of the tools will be arriving soon. As soon as we have hard dates we'll be certain to communicate it out to our distributors like AG and I'm sure they'll share it here as well.
