Rupes Knock Off

I'm not going or post a link as I don't know of I'm allowed to. Has anyone seen the Chinese knock off of the rupes? It looks pretty identical and has more power.

I have an order that is being shipped out in March. One unit.
 
Saw a dude who has one already and reviewed it. He says good power and works well, but not as smooth as the Rupes. He has the Rupes as well.
 
It might be the new Griot's machine in the future.
 
That's what I was thinking. Hopefully you can do a review when you get it.
 
I'm waiting for mine and can't wait to compare with my Rupes 21.

It seems like more than one Rupes owner is interested in these machines. Why?
 
The Chinese manufacturers sure are great about ripping off the hard work and technology and abiding by patents and international copyright laws aren't they. Let the other guy spend all the money on r & d and then just knock it off.
 
that's why i would rather pay the full price it is at AG because it is trusted and i know 100% i won't get any knock off's of anything! :D :P :)
 
coming to a harbor freight near you, well maybe not. if it did and was around $100, who knows it might sell well...
 
Do you get a "microfiber towel cobra" and a "super microfiber madness" towel with every order?
 
I'm not getting the Chupes (Chinese Rupes) right away.

I'm holding out for their kit with the apron, gym bag, pads, and polishes. I figure I can get it all for $99.

Chupes, I like that. Wonder if they will have a ripoff lhr75 coming soon as well?
I would rather support the people who put the time and effort into the rupes than some Chinese knockoff.
Plus, mine looks way cooler with the fake carbon fiber piece on it.
 
If it looks almost identical I would call counterfeit not a knockoff.
 
Are we talking about the one with the red plastic body? That's the only one I know of.

Hard to not support them when damn near everything sold in this country is made there. Really unfortunate how saturated the US market is with Chinese products.
