I’m trying to get a little more information on Rupes Uno Advanced. Can you apply a coating on top of Advanced after applying? Is it like Carpro Essence or more like Essence Plus? I hate when there is limited information about a product.l

Rupes UNO Advanced is like UNO Protect, except with longer/better protection...at least that's how they advertise it. I currently have it applied to my daughter's Hyundai to see how long it actually lasts.

I would think alot of the ceramic spray type products would go nicely on top?? I mean, I think alot of the sealant type sprays go nicely on top of Uno Protect. I bought a bottle of Rupes P808 to go on top of Protect. So any of the Ceramic types would be a win on Advanced??

So has anyone using Advanced topped it with anything? Or was there a direction of products people were leaning to for topping it? I assume any of the si02 type spray products???

Sorry for off topic side note - rlmccarty - Nice to see you post! It's been a while - Hope you've been well.

Not yet...wanted to see how it did as a standalone...looked like it was on it's way out after about three months....but a wash (think I used Reset or Gyeon Bathe) and the hydrophobics came back a little. If I did top it, I'd probably use something like Xtreme Solutions Topper

Ok, do thats the area I was thinking of, Topper, Megs M799/Ceramic Detailer, PA Cosmic/HG, the si02 catagory of sprays.

I noticed you used advanced previously. How was the experience overall?

Its decent. I'm going to try it again i think in 4 weeks, when i get home.

Its a thin pink like liquid and i found it a bit more work to clean out the pads. But no big deal. You can leave it on the panel for a longtime before wiping too if you want to speed polish and do whole panels at a time. Probably could do the whole car before you wipe it down.

Decent beads but i topped it with Nv Boost V2 anyhow. Which is a very good beader. Much better than "Beadmaker" for instance lol

Maybe 3-4 mths "protection" on it's own. It doesn't protect anyhow - that's what the clearcoat is for. Self-cleaning and easier cleaning are the main reasons to even bother with "protection" And some pretty beads.

Nice, did you get much correction from it? Yeah, I’ve used Nv Boost V1 before. Decent but streaked like crazy. Reason I’m thinking of using it is because you can speed polish.

v2 is super simple to use.

I wasn't looking for any correction so i didn't really pay much attention.

If you want some correction use lake country SDO Blue or orange one step microfiber. Other options could be the blue teal rupes pads or yellow wool, buff and shine uro 50/50 and foam blueberry pad.
