Rust on moto rims

I detailed my first Harley today and found some rust in the spokes and where the spokes meet the rim. I tried using Eagle One chrome polish to remove the dust, but had little success. Having a little bit of an OCD disorder, the rust is bugging me bad. Has anyone had any success with a product removing rust from chrome? I am not interested in removing the rims, to correct the problem.
