Rust protection removal help

I had my car rust proofed 4 months ago. They do a few things and use a few different products to do this. One of the products is like a "paraffin" wax. I started to detail my engine compartment and ran into this. I scrubbed it with some apc at full strength but it didn't even touch it. This the result of a sloppy job as the wax is meant to seep into seams you can't dry or clean. How do I remove this? Thanks

Make sure you try test spots on all different materials, or contact Prima about what materials its completely safe on.

I have used it on my painted rocker panels and it works incredibly well.
