What product would you use to clean rv awnings? I'm thinking it would need to be applied with a pressure washer?

I would thoroughly clean it using McKee's RV MPC (Multi Purpose Cleaner) with a soft bristled brush, and then protect it with RaggTopp Fabric Protectant.
MPC is great because not only can it be used to clean an awning, but you can use it to clean practically anything that's dirty in or on your RV, from carpet and upholstery to wheels and tires.
Do this once a year to ensure the awning is clean and protected. :dblthumb2:

What is the awning made of? Is it vinyl or fabric? Look and see if it is sunbrella fabric. If it is you can use pretty much any cleaner, check out their website it has good info.
If it's not sunbrella use a diluted apc or 303 multi surface. Don't go crazy lesser fabrics can be damaged much easier.
If it's vinyl use diluted apc
Amazing Roll off works pretty well.
Once clean protect with your choice of product. If it's sunbrella fabric they recommend 303 products.

I cleaned my vinyl awning a few weeks ago with Marine 31 mildew remover and followed up with Marine 31 mildew guard.
The mildew remover worked great. Based on the smell and performance it seems like a blend of bleach and mildly diluted APC.
So far the awning still looks pristine after a couple weeks. RV awnings are very tough to keep clean since they act like a wick and suck in water from rain and hold it against the awning while it is rolled up. I have seen one good review of mildew guard on vinyl boat seats so I decided to try it on the awning and see how long it lasts.

I've been impressed with how well 303 products have worked on my camper and truck bed Softopper. Even after using a soft brush and car wash soap, I was still able to remove a considerable amount of filth from the topper with 303 fabric cleaner (not sure which one since they offer so many flavors) and a microfiber cloth. I'd be careful using a pressure washer. It'd be fairly easy to damage awning (whatever the material). I think a soft brush, wash mitt, or some form of microfiber would do a better, safer job.
