Hey Folks,
Wanted to share an experience from yesterday. More for the new folks just getting started.
I broke our rule of going to look at the vehicle before quoting a price and it bit me hard yesterday.
I detail a lot of RV's this time of year. As a rule, I always go to look at a vehicle before quoting a price, but with gas at $4 a gallon and me being a little lazy, I let the customer tell me that the finish on their RV was still "shiney". When I arrived, WOW! What I have come to learn in 25 years of doing this is that customers just don't understand what oxidation is. I was reminded of that yesterday.
So, learn from my mistake. Always go look at the vehicle. Worse case, have them send you pics.

did a boat same thing said it was a bay boat but to me it was off shore boat 250.00 for a one day job turned in to a 3 day job same money. Never give a price with out seeing it .up side I got 2 more jobs from him for the wright money.
