Sanding marks?

No expert here, just used XMT 2 and saw this...

two small white areas look like nicks in paint, and polishes wont remove them. The smaller little scratches on right of finger could be micromarring (hard to tell in pics). If it is as you progress to a lighter polish and pad combo it should remove them.

Yes the other are pits, marks from rocks. Just noticed the other in the sun, boy it is hot here today with high humidity.
The lighter polish I have now is Megs 82, 80 and DC2 which I think is just a polish no cleaners.
Do have DC1. Need to use up Megs so I can order some XMT
Using Megs 8006 pad, have a new 9006 pad as well.

Not sure but it almost looks like a re-paint with poor bodywork underneath.

its the hood. After church today a lady told me about a guy who will paint the hood. Will call him tomorrow. Also when it cools down here she asked me to buff out her daughters car!!
