Saw two Audi S5's today.

On the drive into work I noticed a black car getting on the freeway. It caught my eye as it looked very nice but I didn't recognize it. Then I noticed a second one right behind it. As I was passing them I still didn't recognize them, and there were no rear emblems. But when I looked in the rear view mirror I saw the Audi rings hidden with black tape.

I'd never seen this Audi before, so I searched Jalopnik for Audi and came across the S5. Yep! That's what they were. Kinda cool to see them before they're even out. BTW, they were very much in need of a detail. :)

I snapped a crappy photo with my cell phone, but I have no idea how to get it onto the computer. From some brief web browsing on downloading via bluetooth, it looks like my phone may just not allow bluetooth photo transfers. :(

Yeh must have been testers, I don't even think its out in Europe yet. Is a cool looking car, just wish Audi would offer rwd, hate the feel of awd.

Is that the new 2-door coupe with S-line engine in it? I know that they are about to start/if haven't started making A5 (basically same thing as A4, but this one will be coupe), so S5 might be their tuned version of A5.

Must be fast! 340HP V-8.

I also like another nice little Audi - RS4.

I too like the RS4. And for that matter, the R8 :)

Yes, it was a two door coupe. Not sure of the specs on it, but a nice looking car. I was a bit surprised that it was an Audi. It just didn't seem Audi-ish if that makes any sense. It was only by seeing the actual rings on the front that I could tell.

Didn't Will Smith had an R8 in "I, Robot" movie?
That is modified R8, with a different steering wheel.

I think he drove a concept Audi in the movie - something like the RSQ???

The production R8 looks much less futuristic. The Audi website has a movie presentation of it.
