I finally got a bottle of Surf City Glass Cleaner to see what all the talk was about. I did not do too much testing but it does seem to wipe off easier (the first wipe especially) but I have not had a chance to try it on some dirty windows yet head to head against IG.

Yesterday (before this came today), I was using DG APC 20:1 to clean some glass and it did a good job. SC advertises as no ammonia or alcohol so I wondered what was it. Using smell and feel, it almost seems like SC GC is seemed similar to the diluted DG APC.

Any tried using ONR as a glass cleaner?

That's a good one..never even thought of that. I still have lots of IG left and I like it. It never streaks for me b/c the interior is always done last and the car has been inside for hours by that point.

many glass products dont use ammonia any longer, and likely use a surfacant as cleaner. Look to Invisible Glass, SprayWay Glass Cleaner, and DP for other nice glass cleaners without damage of ammonia.

Do you use that for the interior glass as well?

Use a dedicated glass cleaner for inside. There are 2 reasons to use ONR QD over a good glass cleaner for the outside - 1. You have sealed your windows and dont want to strip the sealant/wax/etc 2. Very cost effective

I use the 32oz megs qd bottle for my ONR Qd mix. It lasts for months
