Scholl Concepts Rim 7 on paint?

Since Scholl Concepts rim cleaner is similar to Iron X can it safely be used on paint to remove rail dust and other contaminants?

I love what it has done to clean my 10 year old wheels!

It may be "similar" to Iron X in that it changes colors as it works, but I would advise not to use a dedicated wheel product on paint. Wheel cleaners are formulated to deal with the heavy dirt, brake dust, and grime that wheels see and paint does not.

While there may not be any damage visible right away, it may cause some damage over time if repeated.

Why not just purchase Iron X?
