I love these little vans/cars/???

A friend of mine owns the vehicle and we have worked out a few things here and there so it was time to fix the Scion up. He keeps it clean but it was due for a quick wax exterior detail only.

Your all going to sigh, I left my camera at home so no befores !!! UGH I hate it when I do that. Anyways here goes.

  • DG 901 in the Lowe's mini-foamer followed up with a schmitt yellow/white wash. This DG dries streak free and in full sun I barely had any to dry !!! Washed the wheels with DG All Wheel Cleaner, and man does it clean... Just followed the instructions and used the black scmitt to get all the cracks and crevices.
  • Next I put a layer of XMT360 on with a Orange CCS pad. This removed all swirls and layered the paint for the great topping of Liquid Souveran. Well 2 layers of LS with white CCS pad:)
  • Next I dressed the tires with UV2 protectant. These things were 35 series... Barely even a sidewall, so if I could shine these everyday I would never have to by tire shine ever again !!! It was great.
  • I then moved onto XMT360 and wolfgang applicator to coat the windows. This made them slick and perfect to take on any acid rain that will be here I'm sure by Friday.
  • Final touch was Liquid Souveran Spray Wax to add a bit more depth. Like it really needed it ???...
  • End result ended up taking close to 2 hours and man did it shine.
The photos in the next couple of shots were doctor'd due to my lack of camera skillage..... I however didn't hide any flaws or misrepresentations. This vehicle turned out flawless !!! Enjoy.

I have been looking at everyones fancy photography and I've tried to reproduce so here goes...:p

I took this one and did black and white all over except the hood and sun, which stayed full color.... I thought it was neat :D

WOW! Are you telling me that you used the orange CCS pad and you were ready to top it with your LSP?

How on earth do you do that without following with a white pad???

Amazing work!!!

LSP went on with a white pad. I ran out of my 3M glaze pads. 360 never seems to amaze me.

It never seems to amaze you? I must say that I'm quite impressed by what I'm seeing so far!!!

I meant disappoint me :) It's only 12:00am here in GA I need to be asleep! AG always gets checked before I turn in.

I hear you ehuth1. It's 11:16pm in Texas and I should probably get some rest as well. I can always AG at work tomorrow, YESSSSSSSSSSSS...

Looks great, I could never get that done in 2 hours. Maybe one day....

Exterior Only 03GT, I'm sorry if I mislead the title of the thread. I never looked at the inside. I only clock stuff when I have everything in place, don't count my setup.

wow...that deff needs to go on your website..one of the best details ive seen from you..never have ive i seen a xbox look that good...amazing

Although I'm not a big fan of Xb (kinda reminds me of unsafe G-wagon), that car is the best Xb I've seen up to date! Amazing!

Oh my gosh that's the best damn XBox I've ever seen! It's so wet and has nice reflections. Nice metallics popping on the hood shot.

Your detail settled it for me. Those pics were awesome. Anyway , just got my XMT360 and going to strip my wife's car down again (polished two weeks ago). Got to after seeing that.

Very nice work!! I have used a White Lake County pad and it works pretty good with the 360.

XMt360 really is an awesome product. Your results are outstanding. I may have you beat as far as photography skills; I don't have any. Your pics look good though. Very nice reflection shots.

ehuth1, as always I enjoy your write ups and details. The paint looks extrodinary. Even the orange peel has reflection. You do good work my friend.

Wow nice work! I think you're officially the fastest detailer here. 2 hours ?! wow.
