Hi,
I started working today on a BMW Series 1 and got a little problem. There are some scratches that I cant get them out and most of them are gone, but it seems that they are more deep and maybe I need more cut to take them out. I cant feel them with my fingernail so I know I can fix it.
I am using my new Flex with LC CCS Orange Pad and Menzerna SIP.
Any advice on what should I do to take them out since there are a lot of scratches and I want it to look perfect.
I thought maybe to go to more aggressive pad or to use the Purple Wool Pad to get more cut.

Every help will be appreciate.

You may have to step up to PG, but try the PWP first with SIP. If you do use PG, step down to 106 on a white pad and burnish with 85rd or 87mc on a blue pad.

if you dont have a polish with any more cut then yes use a more agressive pad such as the lc ccs yellow or the purple foamed wool.

Or try going over it again depends how many passes you did also :iagree:

I will take a picture of it and post it later.
I got the lambwool pad, can I use it for now until I will get the purple wool pad? I did a 2 passes without success and the scratch is still there laughing at me.:buffing:

Having really hard time to take care of all these scratches, and still cant get them all out.

Try one pass with the wool pad you have and see how it comes out. It should take care of it.

I got the Leveling wool pad and I dont know what to do with it.
Should I first use it in order to level the scratches? with or without the SIP?

Thanks
