I started on this Honda Odyssey today that has these scratches in the rubber trim under the windows from a dog. Any ideas on how to get these out or at least make it look better?

Anybody??? I really don't want to give this back like this.

Tell the owner and offer to replace them for a fee, your local honda dealership will more than likely have the trim pieces in stock. They are pretty cheap too.

I would second Jon's opinion never had good luck removing scratches like that . I try sanding then spray with clear coat look alright but had to due every molding to make them match.

Its rubber and replacing them is not an option and not an easy thing to do on these.

Maybe you could use a heat gun to soften the rubber on the scratches then use a foam brush to smooth them out. It has potential to work, but I have never tried it.
