It's been awhile since I posted here. Been really busy since Spring has finally arrived here in Mass.

I also have been working on my new shop. I move in May 1st. Luckily I know the guy that is in the shop now so I've been able to go there in the evenings and start painting.

The shop is a total mess right now with the current tenant only using it to store his Mack Truck and a bunch of random furniture. The shop has held a few late night parties where things have gotten out of hand and someone decided to spray paint all over the place.

I'll be sharing this shop with a plumber who only uses the area under the office for storage.

The shop is approx 53x24, but the work space is really only 40x24. About 960sq ft, which is plenty of room for me. Has an office upstairs, a small area that I could use as a waiting area if needed, and a bathroom. Drain in the floor and over head lighting (which I'm upgrading). It's right off the main road in Billerica, MA. Good area, close to the center of town and shopping areas, restaurants, etc.

The pics are what the shopped looked like before i started painting. I am painting everything white. I'll add color when I'm all done, just wanted to paint everything with a nice bright color to clean it up. Still waiting for the current tenant to get his stuff out so I can finish the painting, but I've made a lot of progress with the help of my girlfriend, mother, sister, and one of my sisters friends. New lights are being delivered tomorrow and my gf's brother is an electrician who's going to put in the new lights for a nice bottle of Scotch!

I'm extremely excited about moving into my first shop! :buffing:

Congrats! That's awesome. One day I hope to be on your level.

Nice space, however it really needs work. As a detailer you know that your clients will judge you by yours space so it needs to reflect the work you do.

Best of luck

Awesome place! Lots of room! Clean up the junk, de-grease the walls and floor space. Paint the walls and floor and a way you go, good as new with a new shop smell. :props:

I very happy for you hope everything goes well. I can't wait to see the finished photos and wish I lived by you I would come help.

Hey Jason,

Good to hear from you!

That will be quite a place once you are through performing detailing "it" your shop will look professional and a first class place to have your car or truck detailed...

Good luck my friend and save these photos for that before and after! :props:
