In this test, I will be following the durability of 3 sealants. I read another thread somewhere involving 30+ sealants and it was just too much for me. I plan to use no boosters, just some DP rinseless washes and waterless washes depending on the weather.
The Sealants
DP Poli-Coat
Menzerna Power Lock
Prima Epic
clayed w/ DP clay and DP rinseless mixed as clay lube
polished w/ Menzerna Super Finish
wiped it down w/ some PB's Spray and Wipe WW
here's the setup
The DP has some bonding agents in it so i decided to help out the Epic by using Prima's paint cleaner,Amigo. Menzerna doesn't make a specific paint cleaner that I know about so I went without, I don't see this being a big deal.
Each product applied easily with the red CCS foam apps I used. Power Lock was the thinnest of the group, with the other 2 being almost identical in consistency. The Power Lock and Epic both came off with ease while the DP needed a little extra effort, not tough to remove by any means.
And with everything wiped off
I plan to update at least monthly and whenever there's some good weather and I can get pics.
