Sealant wax on top of already applied Sealant

Hi Mike,

I recently got a 2020 BMW M340, and the dealer's "detail" was pretty rough, it actually had scratches from them running through their car wash machine and water spots they had waxed over.

So I used Blackfire paint cleaner and spot polished it where there where some imbedded water spots, all good.

I topped it off with a coat of Blackfire sealant. Normally I've used a straight carnauba wax on top of the sealant, but I've been wanting to try the BlackICE Montan sealant wax.

Any concerns with putting that on top of the coat of sealant already there, or should I strip the sealant off with the paint cleaner and start fresh using the sealant wax only?

Thanks,

Thanks Bruno, I'm fairly new to using sealants, so just wanted to be sure

Like Bruce said, no problems...

I just sent one of our cars to the dealership for inspection and repair.

Also placed DON'T WASH CAR hang tags on the front seats and the rear view mirror.

Autogeek's Do Not Wash Car Hanging Sign

Asked the tow truck driver to hand his contact a "Don't Wash Car" hang tag too...

Fingers are crossed.

:)

No problems at all.

I absolutely love Blackfire's Wet Ice Over Fire on the wife's Kia. When I did her's, it was pretty much like you did: BF Paint Cleaner, BF Sealant, but topped with BF Midnight Sun paste wax.

Washes consisted of occasional Blackfire Waterless, but mostly Blackfire Rinseless.
