With the season changing, winter is on the horizon of my mind

Are you still a fan of BH touches. I get it's strong....it needs to be in order for it to be touchless.
I still have almost a Gallon of Touchless and AutoFoam and it may just sit along with my other touchless stuff.

I wouldn't call it stripped, but the LSP was definately not as present in the spring as expected.
+ to that that IME, no LSP has a decent longevity on PPF, so that might have added to what I perceive as a pretty diminished LSP.

I think I'll still be using them. To me, it means a fresh coat of LSP before winter and hopefully not using it too much until spring.

My Auto Foam has pretty much sat untouched since late spring

I did use it on some bugs at one point this summer

Last winter I would take it to the tunnel wash or wand wash in my IK foamer and pre-spray but I was never that impressed by the outcome

I won’t use it at home in the winter because I can’t effectively rinse it in the garage

I can’t justify trying Touchless until I use this up

Guess I’ll ramp up my ratio and see what happens and at the least I’ll burn through it quicker

I pretty much use rinseless at this time of year. Have a 3 gallon pump sprayer for water so I can use cleaners other than rinseless on the wheels and tires and then rinse them off. Just got an IK pro foam 2 but haven't used it yet but mostly will use with wheels and tires.
However as winter comes on think I may have to go to a presoak. Plan on getting an IK pro foam 12 for that. Will use some foaming soap and some APC for that. Not sure how much that will knock down my LSP but I add protection at every wash with my drying aid. At least one that will last till next wash.
So I haven't done this yet but because I already have the hose out to rinse off the pre soak am thinking it may just be easier to continue on with foaming car again with just a foaming soap this time and then proceed with the contact wash. As opposed to doing the contact wash with rinseless.
There seems to be pluses and minuses with each type of contact wash. Through later spring, summer and early fall my vehicles don't really get dirty enough to require a pre soak with anything but rinseless solution. So it all depends on how dirty ones vehicle is as to the wash method needed.

It's probably the best touchless I've used to date.
But at the expense of my LSP I suppose

It always get's a fresh coat before the week of Thanksgiving...

I'm hemming and hawing at this. I'd rather have a better LSP going into spring.
I don't like tinkering with LSP during the winter, even something as a topper.
The car tires track so much ## in, and even with leaf blowing out the garage, I still feel like there is --micro salt; sad-- always in the air

Those that live in winter conditions...u know how you can have a clean panel, leave it outside and while it's not pollen, there is just airborne sand:salt that lands on the panel. This airborne stuff is why I try to minimize contact on panels in general that time of the year
