gyeon leather coat.

You're impressed with the results you get from that product eh? Can you tell it's been applied after several days? Or is it more like an invisible barrier?

It's invisible from the start of application.leaves the leather kinda smooth takes the grabbing away from friction of getting in and out.The feel is like when you wear dress slacks on leather silky feeling.

Invisible barrier. States on the bottle it leaves a matte finish. I used it a couple times. Once on my computer chair and in my dad's car the other day. Doesn't alter the appearance of the leather. Not glossy like D180.

Nope you've got it wrong.. It's spelled "matt"😜lol. J/k.

How does the Meguiars Leather Sealer compare to it? They sound similar?

Thx to the both of you for the info.👍🏽

I think the final look of it depends on different model cars. When applied to my old charger it left a very low sheen almost nothing.Applied it to new E class nothing at all great stuff.

Hmm.. I just checked out the description on it. Pros & Cons.

Pros: It's a heck of alot cheaper than I was expecting. I was almost afraid to look because I figured it would be about $55 per 120ml. Turns out it's only $12.99. Way to go! Thank the boutique for toning it down on this product at least.. [I guess I'm still shocked by that $30 wash mitt. lol]

Cons: It only lasts 3 months. I guess that's about right for the the price, but I'm thinking of using something like this only on customers vehicles and not my own, and a longer leash [6 months] would've been the sweet spot.

Must wait 12hrs. before you even sit on the surface in order for it to dry & cure?! Who's got that kind of time in the world of customers? That's unrealistic. That's way beyond oversoaking all the carpets in a vehicle and having to deal with that to dry... 12hrs. is Alot of time.

Side note: Why don't they just list ounces instead of ml? We all know 120ml is only 4.5oz. It kinda seems like they'd much rather list fluids in ml. just to make it seem like you're getting more for your money.. 120ml looks better than 4oz. Lol.

That's a great point.^

Btw, why are you interested in covering up the seats?

I want to cover the seats to protect them after getting in and out of the car all the time the sides start to wear near the stitching.

Lol yeah it is matt. The looks comparable to the leather sealer. I can't comment on longevity yet. On the drivers seat it's probably about the same. On seats that are not sat on too often both probably last the same amount of time.

Actually it's quite cheap considering it's only 4 oz's of product. 3 months is kind of asking for a lot especially on the drivers seat which sees a lot of surface abrasion. On the other areas 3 months or even longer is doable. The Meguiar's sealer is stated to last about the same amount of time but I will tell you right off the bat on the drivers side seat a month or two is more realistic. For customers car's either one would work. You could upsell them on it. If you want a true leather coating then Car Pro Leather Coating is what you want. Claimed to last 1-2 years.

If you are worried about that 12 hour window blast some air from your sidekick to cure it faster. Just an idea.
