SEMA 2016 Video: FLEX XFE7- Long Stroke Orbital Polisher - The Finisher!

The FLEX XFE7 is a 15mm long orbit stroke orbital polisher. This is a free spinning orbital polisher to compliment the gear-driven FLEX 3401 or The Beast.

The FLEX XFE7 comes with a 5 3/4" factory installed backing plate and there's an optional 5" backing plate available to allow you to run smaller pads.

In this video Bob Eichelberg goes over the benefits and design features of the The Finisher.

Mike,
Since this was reintroduced, is it be available in HD version? Will you offer both backing plates in the package deal, like the 3401 which I recently purchased and thoroughly enjoy.

Love the idea of the new improvements.

The operation looks so smooth too.

I think I'd like to pick up a new (yet to be released) Beast/Finisher combo.

why do you need both im not understanding?

Great question....

At this point in time, FLEX offers 4 tools for the auto refinishing (body shops), auto reconditioning, (detailing), and enthusiast market,

FLEX PE14 Rotary Polisher - Gear driven
FLEX PE8 Kompact 3 Rotary Polisher - Gear Driven
FLEX XC 3401 VRG Dual Action Orbital Polisher - The BEAST - GEAR DRIVEN - 8mm OSL or Orbit Stroke Length
FLEX XFE7-15 - The Finisher - FREE SPINNING - 15mm OSL or Orbit Stroke Length

So it's not about whether a person NEEDS both but more about providing a variety of tools for the market and let each person decide which tool is best for their needs or wants or business model. Some people may only want and need a FLEX 3401 gear driven orbital polisher to know out production detailing as fast as humanly possible without the worry or risk of hologram swirls while others may prefer the XFE7 as they like and prefer a free spinning orbital polisher for their detailing needs.

It's all about choices. And from my experience that's something people really like.

Ford/Chevy
Coke/Pepsi
Toyota/Honda
Samsung/iPhone
McDonald's/Burger King
Etc., etc., etc...

I know from being in the detailing industry as long as I've been in it that back when we didn't have so many choices people complained about not having all these choices. In my opinion, more choices trumps only a few choices...

It use to be these were you only choices...

Again, great question... thank you for asking it.

Mike,
When I saw this pic, I laughed out loud because I threw the one on the left away after the 3401 arrived. Been in garage forever!!!

Heres a tip, labeling one the Beast and the other the Finisher implies the one can only correct and finish poorly and the other too weak to correct and only finish. Just saying....
