Is it possible it IS lime-scented? I know Corey said it smelled much better than regular IronX, but I'm not sure he said what the scent was, if any.
That could very easily be the explanation....we're doomed. This is what happens when you turn over your marketing department to an AI agent.
Reading between the lines of Corey's video, I got the impression that since you generally remove limescale with an acid, and acid also works on metal/brake dust, that it may be they reduced the thioglycolate content, which is why it doesn't smell as bad. As usual, I will now plug the Stoner's Odorless Iron Remover. It doesn't work as well (or at least it doesn't seem to), but it's so much nicer to work with. They already have lemon scented. Lemon scented rotten egg farts or lime scented rotten egg farts... does it really matter?

These scents never work out on the iron-eaters, anyway...my bottle of Griot's wheel cleaner smells like cherry urinal cakes--except worse. As I recall no one was impressed with the lemon-scent they used in one of the IronX's, either.
