Official 2016 SEMA Show Picture/Coverage Thread

SEMA is coming up quickly in just a week! I just wanted to inform everyone that I will be covering the show again this year in the typical Yancy fashion! Got some new shoes and of course I will be… NOS fueled to the max AGAIN! Once again I was even given passes for extra access to the show and have some amazing events that I have been invited to. Yeah Baby!

I will be posting to this thread, the Autogeek Facebook page (where I will be doing some Live Feeds throughout the show) and the Autogeek Instagram account. No matter how you want to follow me, you will be able to. So bookmark them, follow or like the pages listed below and get ready for coverage that will leave your monitors embedded with all that is SEMA 2016, celebs, cars, girls and the sights of Las Vegas. lol!

I am doing the total mileage contest again for the 4th year! You can win big off my hard work and moving feet! The first one who is closest to my 7 day total mileage without going over wins an Autogeek Prize pack. For more info and to post your guess on the official contest thread click here.

  • Attention: For those of you that are there at SEMA, capture a picture of me in action and I will have a special prize for you. Post your pic of me either on the forum, Facebook or Instagram. Be sure to tag it with #caughtyouyancy- I will pick my favorite pic and announce the winner once I am back in Florida. Remember you got to be fast cause I cover a lot of ground rather quickly, not to mention all the energy drinks that will be in my system!

This will be my mobile studio while I am in Vegas! A lot of cameras, video equipment, cables and sound equipment packed neatly inside this TSA approved case. Don't need to argue with a guy dressed as a hotdog again! (Long story there lol)

  • 1 DSLR
  • 2 Lenses
  • 4 GoPro Cameras
  • 1 MEVO Live Stream Camera
  • 3 wireless mic set ups
  • 60 AA batteries
  • 12 extra camera batteries
  • DJI Mobile Osmo
  • 2 Laptops
  • 35 Feet of HDMI cable
  • 3 terabytes of storage
  • 1 Mobile 2 channel sound board

And I wonder why it always takes me a while to clear security.
